Keep in mind, there is no "standard" cremation arrangement. We are here to help you make service and memorial choices that provide comfort and meaning and that feel right for you. Here are some important decisions that need to be made when arranging for a cremation service.
- Decide who will make the arrangements
- Decide what type of commemorative service, ceremony,
reception or other event that best suits you and your family.
- If a viewing is chosen, select location and casket.
- Select clothing, jewelry, glasses, etc.
- If holding a service, select minister or other officiating individual.
- Choose personalization, flowers, readings, music, soloist, and other elements of the service.
- Choose photos for memorial DVD or portrait.
- Choose cremation container.
- Choose memorial urn.
- Decide personalization for the memorial urn.
- Decide which permanent memorial (home, garden, or cemetery) is most desirable for you and your family.
- Choose memorials and charitable organizations for remembrance.
