Soller-Baker's Kay Burry a National Top Producer
Lafayette,
IN, 05/08/09 – It may have looked like a typical fun in the sun
vacation, but for Kay Burry of Soller-Baker Funeral Homes in
Lafayette, it was a reward for a job well done. Burry was
one of about 75 funeral counselors in the nation who qualified for
the April vacation to the LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort on
Vanderbilt Bay near Naples, Florida.
To qualify for the all-expense paid trip, agents were required to achieve $600,000 in net pre-need sales over a period of 10 months. The fun was provided by Forethought Financial Group. Headquartered in Indianapolis, the companies provide life insurance, trust programs, and annuities. Burry has consistently met the goals as a top producer during 22 years of Soller-Baker’s affiliation with Forethought.
The group enjoyed various activities, among them golf, nature hikes, catamaran sailing, shopping, and dining out. “It was a relaxing, do what you want type trip this time,” said Burry, who has earned many similar vacations through Forethought.
